Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Padelite (the "app") you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. Who we are

Padelite is a mobile application that helps players and organisers run padel tournaments — from registration and payment, through the draw and live scoring, to standings, level history, and the Hall of Fame.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your password secure.
• You must not create accounts on behalf of other people without their permission.
• You must not use the app for anything illegal, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights.

3. Tournaments

Padelite provides the tools for tournament organisers to run their events. Organisers are responsible for the actual conduct of their tournaments, including entry fees, refund policies, payment handling, court bookings, disputes, safety, and compliance with local laws. Padelite is not a party to the contract between a player and an organiser.

4. Payments

Where a tournament requires payment, the player pays the organiser directly (typically outside the app via bank transfer or a payment service), and uploads a receipt inside the app for verification. Padelite does not process card payments and does not hold funds on behalf of organisers or players.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (profile photos, receipts, tournament covers). By uploading, you grant Padelite a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of running the app and its features. You must not upload content you don't have the right to share.

6. Prohibited use

You must not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app or its servers.
• Scrape or bulk-export data from the app.
• Impersonate another player or organiser.
• Upload malware, spam, or content that harasses, defames, or endangers others.
• Use the app to violate any applicable law or regulation.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, that abuse the platform or its users, or that pose a security risk. You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by writing to us — see our Delete Account page.

8. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep the app available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, remove, or change features at any time. Significant changes will be communicated inside the app.

9. Disclaimer

Padelite is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied) about the app, its content, and its availability. Using the app is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Padelite is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability, for any claim, will not exceed the amounts you have paid to Padelite in the past 12 months (which for most users is zero, as the app is free to use).

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt.
